I am currently a Research Fellow at the Sustainable Cooperation (SCOOP) Centre at Utrecht University. From September 2026, I will join Bocconi University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
I received my PhD from the London School of Economics and was previously a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. My academic training also includes degrees from Bocconi University, the University of Cambridge, and Witten/Herdecke University.
My research focuses on the political economy of inequality in the long run, examining how institutional arrangements shape economic outcomes over centuries.
